Believe it or not, it's already time to start talking about Jr. Camp, 2014. This past Wednesday night we announced several fun things about camp. Our speaker this year is Jonathan Woodall. Jonathan is the director of SOMA - a college ministry at the University of Memphis. He is dedicated to helping students and young adults connect to the life-changing power of the Holy Spirit. He is a veteran of Jr. High camp, coming several years as the worship leader. We are excited that Jonathan has agreed to come to camp in the role. Our Bible Teacher will be Daniel Overton. Daniel is the preaching minister for the Friendship Church of Christ. He has been the speaker the past couple years, and he has a passion for communicating the word of God. We are excited he has agreed to join us again this year. The worship leaders will be Colby Canterbury and Steve Maxwell. Colby is the band director at Harding Academy and is the main worship leader for WSYG Sanctuary. Steve is the worship minister here at White Station. They both bring a unique ability to lead worshipers to the throne of God. One of the more exciting developments this year is that the Grace Crossing Church will be joining us again for camp. They came for several year, but for the past few have been unable to join us. We are so glad to have them back. Finally, we are excited to announce the performer this year is Ellie Holcomb. She will be performing for us on Monday night. Many of you will know Ellie from the Behold the Lamb of God tour that came through Memphis during Christmas. if you have never listened to her music, I think you will enjoy some of her stuff. I've included a YouTube link of one of my favorite songs. Remember, Jr. High Camp is July 20-26. We hope all of our students will plan to come.
